These "economy" mooring whips/mooring rods are intended for safely mooring the boat to a jetty without it constantly hitting it. Especially on rough water with (stern) waves from e.g. shipping traffic, these mooring rods offer a good solution for safely mooring the boat. The mooring rods ensure a constant tension that pushes the boat away from the side, which absorbs waves without the boat hitting the side. The economy set consists of: 2x fiberglass mooring rod with line feed-through on the top 2x aluminum base with cleat and eye 2x aluminum tensioner 2x line for attaching the mooring rods to the boat 2x mooring line
