Many on-board installations have two or more batteries, which - separately - supply 12V, 24V and/or 48V consumers. This requires a division of the charging system with reliable charging current distributors or battery couplers. Mastervolt has a number of clever solutions for this:

After all, a second battery helps to prevent the main battery from running flat and you can no longer start the engine. A safe and reliable solution. However, you will also have to charge the second battery regularly. The Charge Mate series connects both batteries during charging and isolates them during use. The Charge Mate 1202 and 2502 are extremely suitable for smaller systems, the Charge Mate Pro offers additional functionality. For example, the charging current to the second battery is limited to 40A or 90A, and the main battery has charging priority. The return current is automatically blocked and the stability of the on-board network is increased. A jump start switch can optionally be connected.
