Battery in which the electrolyte (mixture of water and sulphuric acid) is largely absorbed in glass fibre. AGM batteries are completely maintenance-free and do not produce gases during normal use. Because extraction is not necessary, they can be installed anywhere. AGM batteries can be discharged very quickly due to their construction, with very high currents, and are therefore extremely suitable for systems where high currents are required (such as starting engines). The battery poles of AGM batteries can be unscrewed. You can use standard battery clamps and cable lugs during installation.
