Ready-made anchor lines made of braided polyester with lead cord in the core of the line, including stainless steel sleeve. The polyester anchor lead line is very suitable as an anchor line because it sinks, is wear-resistant and has sufficient stretch to absorb the forces of waves during anchoring, for example. Because the line is provided with a lead cord, the anchor will dig in faster and better, which reduces the chance of an anchor dragging. The required length of anchor line is determined by the water depth on site and the prevailing wind force at that time. On average, approximately 5 times the water depth is taken as the length for the anchor line. In light winds, less line is often needed, and in heavy weather (wind force 5 and above) the length can be up to 7 times the water depth. The diameter of the line is determined by the boat length and the weight of the ship.
