Anchor line braided with lead 10mm 20m

Ready-made anchor lines made of braided polyester with lead cord in the core of the line, including stainless steel sleeve. The polyester anchor lead line is very suitable as an anchor line because it sinks, is wear-resistant and has sufficient stretch to absorb the forces of, for example, waves during anchoring. Because the line is provided with a lead cord, the anchor will dig in faster and better, which reduces the chance of a dragging anchor.

The required length of anchor line is determined by the water depth at the location and the prevailing wind force at that time. On average, approximately 5 times the water depth is taken as the length of the anchor line. In low wind conditions, one can often use less line and in heavy weather (wind force 5 and more) the length increases to 7 times the water depth. The diameter of the line is determined by the boat length and the weight of the ship.

The anchor line is supplied on a small compact rope spool.
